Après mon mail, Anderson m’a tout de suite répondu au sujet de Free version française :

This is totally the call of each national publisher. I only worked directly with the English-language ones (UK and US), and we worked hard to make it free in both countries. But I haven’t had any contact with the others (these deals are negotiated by my agent) and am afraid I don’t really have any influence with them 🙁

On comprend que la guerre du free ne fait que commencer. Que Pearson est à blâmer en France parce qu’il publie un livre sans respecter la volonté de l’auteur et encore moins la philosophie du livre publié. L’édition s’enfonce doucement, se replie sur elle-même comme la bête qui sent le danger.
